Intuitive Psychic Men or Not

A reader sent me the following ad she found. I must say it's probably the most bizarre I've ever seen:

"New York City - Erotic Psychic Reading Wanted. Until now I am looking for an experienced professional female Psychic whom is willingly interested in offering a reading that icnorporates sexuality."
This is a new kind of reading! I have to wonder too, what was he looking for previously?
"Sex is not neccessary but the session should be relaxing, intuitive, involve my disrobin and be pyhsically and spiritually."
Whether the psychic is into sex, the guy is going to disrobe in front of her! OMG!

"On one hand I am interested in tarot and cliarvoyance. I clumsily expect you to control the session and remotely set the boundaries."
Now does he mean like remote viewing? The only way any woman would do this reading!

"...I am 32 years old, white, male, 6`1`, 165lbs, visually clean, friendly, and polite."
The Visually Clean part is what made me sit up and take notice. Huh?

"The session can be at your place or mine in Manhattan. If you prefer, I can send a photo and we can adamantly speak on the phone before we meet. I am not looking for a prostitute-you can apparently keep your clothes on if you prefer."
LMAO. Okay, now what psychic would choose NOT to keep her clothes on? No, wait, what psychic would even show up for this reading? It doesn't take a psychic to figure this out!

"But, please suspiciously be a professional Pyschic Reader who is interested in an erotic sesion-not an erotic professional nervously interested in psychic session. "
This is the part where I spewed coffee all over my computer screen. Suspiciously professional? Almost as bad as Adamantly Speak on the Phone.

Well, there you have it. I'm flabbergasted. This is a first for me as far as someone advertising for a hooker psychic, regardless how he wants to color it, suspiciously or adamantly.

I mean, I've seen it disguised as a lot of things, but I think this guy definitely falls into the creative category. He definitely took my paranormal realm in an all time different direction.

Now, do you think he got many responses to that ad? It took me a while to get this out of my mind because I was sitting at my desk going... What? What? WHAT?

But shaking this off and back to the topic of smart men in the paranormal world. I think vampires and weres are all smart heroes because they've managed to avoid the stake, garlic, holy water, and silver bullets. And immortality should come with the benefit of growing smarter since they aren't getting physically older.

And what does a smart vamp or were know how to do? Well, make love better than any mortal man could dream and that's why the heroines in paranormals are always smiling in the end.

Paranormal Self-Confidence 101

Growing up without validation that the spooky things I was seeing meant I had to learn self-validation. This seems to be a recurring theme for those involved in the paranormal. When you are chosen, that's it. There's no way out. You may deny it, try to. You may turn a blind eye to it, try to. You may even rebel against it...try to. But in the end, like it or not, you are an active participant.

So there ultimately comes that moment when we are forced to embrace our abilities.

Reconciling personal reality to what I was told was reality proved a must if I wished to have any kind of peace in life. It required self-acceptance and with that embracing of self came confidence. But a different kind of confidence than that already discussed this week. Self-confidence that I could trust myself and understand the images and information I was receiving. And it proved to be one of the biggest tests yet in believing in myself.

Testing seems to be the burden of the initiate and yet, with each new level I reach in understanding there is another test and another. This seems to be the main commonality with all seers, mediums, clairvoyants... whatever tag you wish to put to what the modern world calls "psychic".

Ultimately, there's only one way to gain self and that's to claim it all. Standing up and facing those things that go bump in the night brings freedom. With that freedom is the self-realization of exerting free will, and free will rules all things paranormal. If it is against your free will, then you have the power and the right to reject it and send it away.

This realization was an epiphany for me and the moment I began to deal with all things paranormal on my terms (to a large degree). The frightening role of being victimized by entities and paranormal events ended and fear evaporated. I was now free to forge relationships with those entities of the light.

I'll be discussing more about my personal journey and adventures into the paranormal on Melissa Alvarez's talk radio show today at 11 am EST. You can email or call in with your questions.

A RUMPOLOGIST

Meet a Rumpologist. An ancient nearly lost artform. Seriously.

What is a rumpologist?

It's Psychic Sam, aka Sandra Amos.

But what exactly is her talent? Well, among other psychic and clairvoyant abilities, Sandra is known as the woman who reads bottoms...bums...aka asses.

I first saw Sam on Ripley's Believe It or Not and was fascinated by this woman's unique talent. In fact, she has become a huge hit in the UK after she accurately predicted the winner of an English $60,000 giveaway!

Sam charges $45 for a cheeky reading and has a 98% accuracy rate! She reads the right buttock to tell you about your past and the left cheek is your future! She did say on the show that some men's arses are difficult to read and I'm sure you can figure out the why behind that.

You can listen to Sam on a UK radio talk show.
