Get a Load of THAT Scepter!

In the 1956 movie The Ten Commandments (from Paramount Pictures, direction Cecil B. DeMille) Yul Brynner put on the most delicious pharaonic headdress, enough bling to dazzle the audience (as if his six pack hadn’t already achieved that) and took on the role of Pharaoh Ramses II. And dayum if ladies everywhere didn’t line up to get a load of his, er, scepter!

What is it about Yul Brynner is this role that appealed to countless women? Is it the sinister charm, the luscious lips, those killer eyes, the smooth skin (glory be to Brazilian wax, baby!) or that he was so good at being so bad? But then again, he does save the girl from being squished between three-ton Lego pieces when he could have sat on his leopard-covered throne and just keep being the handsome devil he was. So there’s some good in there too.

We’ll just pretend the character didn’t force thousands into forced labor that often resulted in death. We’ll also forget he had a whip and used it. Or should we? Um. I, for one, wouldn’t have minded spanking that bad, bad pharaoh on his golden, golden bum, if you know what I mean, and I think you do.

So back to the role.

He made his character exotic, arrogant, intoxicating and stubborn, and just menacing enough without falling into the Icky Zone. So in one word—sexy. Coupled with the Costume To Put All Other Costumes To Shame, well, what chance did we have?

On the Spankable Factor, Yul Brynner, playing Ramses II about to meet his divine smackdown, is eminently worthy of a good spanking. That’ll teach him to wear such a short skirt!

Yes Nat, one of my Favorites, too. Something about those piercing eyes and bald head.

Ever since the 1984 song from the muscical Chess, I can't think of him without hearing "One Night in Bangkok" playing in my head...
"the creme de la creme of the chess world in a show with everything but Yul Brynner."

Yeah, strange I know, but some lyrical lines stick in my head.

Thanks for reminding me of this oh-so-spankable villian :)

Mmm, Yule is very spankable! I think its definitely a combo of one great package between the bod, smooth head, eyes, and grin.

OMG!!! You have definately found one of my favorite men. I think I have drooled over him since the first time I ever watched The King and I. He even played a cowboy in one of his movies and I still can't quite grasp that even though I watched the movie.

There's just something about those eyes and that smile that gets me everytime. Ooh la la! My mom just thinks that I have a thing for bald men (and for this one the answer is yes). LOL!
